1. Only $89 for admittance (so so so cheap to be able to bring your pet in at any time day or night
5. My husband and I were offered bottled water and animal crackers.
They let me see him before I left but they explained I wouldn't be able to see him if they were busy.
6. There was a sweet little white board with the names of all patience from the night. It was so cute to see Rocky's name on the board.
IF YOUR PET IS IN NEED OF EMERGENCY HELP, YOU MUST BRING THEM TO NGVS!
A client's dog passed away while we were at the hospital and the intake nurse sat with the client for a long while comforting her and literally let the client cry on her shoulder.
The hospital sent our dog's health report/documents over to our regular vet while we were still there in the hospital and out vet (Heart of Suwanee) followed up 7days later per the ER vet's directions.
AMAZING!! We arrived at 3am and the staff was incredible, from the intake nurse to the doctor herself. They put our doggie's name on the little patient board... it was adorable.
All in all- Fantastic experience.
The ER fee was super cheap... under $100.
Complimentary snacks and water in the waiting room.
2. Fantastic service from admittance to release
Edit: surgery went well. Everyone has been very helpful. they kept in contact with me and explained everything to me multiple times. They were patient and let me occupy a room for 2 hours so I could hold my dog.
This place is great. I have seen a review on here that i don't agree with, although i understand the way this person feels. What needs to be taken into consideration is that this is not just your everyday vet. This in an emergency vet hospital. They already have a delicate job to do, with some seriously injured and some very sick animals. They can't afford to let pet owners to be in the back where they operate on and try to keep calm some already stressed out animals that belong to multiple persons. Your being in the back would only complicate matters in several ways. No, these people are very compassionate, very passionate about the animals they work with. There are several reasons why a doctor. may seem distant. You don't know what they have going on in the operating rooms. I just got my little girl COTTON back tonight after several hours of surgery and procedures, and I count myself and my family very lucky that they are so caring and good at what they do. It's because of these amazing people that me and mine did not lose a beloved family member. I cannot thank you guys enough.
I'm a new dog owner. My puppy got very sick on Friday night. I called and spoke to Robin (who was a DOLL and calmed me right down because I was a mess). The staff took my puppy in right away, no wait time. Robin kept me calm, which meant the world to me. They explained all the costs before they did anything. Even sent over all the results to my primary vet. I can't say enough about the staff! Wonderful and extremely thoughtful. Thanks for taking great care of my puppy! Thanks from Booker and Ashlee
8. Lastly, and most importantly, the vet was super! She was calm, informative, and truly concerned.
A pitbull terrier mix bit my Maltese. Multiple puncture wounds. Treatment wise, I'm satisfied so far. He still has surgery and I hope it goes well and he makes a full recovery.
One issue. I wish their phone line immediately asked if it was an emergency. I was calling them to make sure they were ready for us when we got there and the automated message was a little stressful to listen too.
3. The admittance nurse was so welcoming and put everyone at ease when they arrived (an owner's doggie died and the admittance nurse let her cry on her shoulder
Thank you for everything you've done to help Sky. Other vets in the area recommended you and our own vet said we made the right choice leaving Sky in your care.
4. A seizing dog arrived around 2:30am. The hospital nurses rushed a gurney out to the owner's car and retrieved him tenderly
7. The admittance nurse sent a copy of our medical report to our vet (Heart of Suwanee). Within a week we were contacted for a follow up.
