People need to read to deliver mail to correct address and stop lying saying you attempted delivery when you know you didn’t a 1 is too high a rating

I LOVE MY POST OFFICE! THE CARRIER IS SO ATTENTIVE AND COURTIOUS AND MY MAIL ALWAY ARRIVES DAILY! YEA FOR THE BUFORD ANNEX!
Over the last 6yrs of living in the area that this annex is responsible for I've lost well over $1000 in deliveries. They've gone through no less than three postmasters in that time, as well. I've caught delivery drivers in a lies over tracking and missing packages, caught the last postmaster in a lie and was told "I needed to start insuring my packages..."
HORRIBLE... never delivers packages nor special envelopes even when someone is home... they never bother to come to the door... always leave note on the door... then i go to pick up the packages and they cannot find them... waste of time and waste of brain power on my end... useless
They can't be held accountable because they work for the government...
What do you expect from the US Post Office. They should have been run out of business decades ago. No Accountability, No Customer Service, No Attention to Detail. If they were a private run business, they wouldn't last a week; However, our tax dollars will continue to be used to prop them up for the foreseeable future. Sorry USPS, just stating the Truth.
This year, they've managed to lose luggage that I bought and $300 worth of truck parts...all purchased through Amazon and all of the tracking mysteriously disappears, keeping you from holding the delivery folks accountable.
Just get a PO Box....
There's no point in having anything delivered throughout the holidays. Two years ago they misplaced every single bit of clothes I had purchased for my siblings. That total isn't in the $1000, because the sender was accustomed to the USPS snaking people's holiday deliveries and gave me a credit.
