Sydney's Restaurant in the hotel - seafood buffet was stellar - I'm very picky with my seafood and this was well prepared, well stocked and totally satisfying.
We had a blast, would love to go back, would highly recommend!
Zip line, water world two pools, water slides. ( huge TV included) hotel for overnight stay. Boats for rent, sun set view. And finally golf courses.
This place is incredible! Excellent customer service incredible in the summer with their huge water park and lake Lanier. Amazing in the winter with their snow world winter theme park and the magical nights of lights Christmas lights display . Oh and of course every small child's dream breakfast with Santa ... If you have the chance to check this place out you will not be disappointed.
The Stables - You could really sense that Beth and the girls loved their jobs, the horses & the riding public and respected safety. Facility was clean and trails well maintained, very comfortable even tho it was mid July in the south because the entire trail was through the woods with beautiful views of the lake.
I really like this place, and this is why I am so disappointed that I am writing this review. I have been coming to Lake Lanier Islands since I was very young. My family and I always had a great experience, to my knowledge as an 11-year old. Last year, 2016, I took a group of 4 to Lake Lanier Islands. We all had an amazing time! They had an awesome course in the center of the lake that was meant to resemble the Wipe Out television show. It was so much fun, and I vowed to my group that I would buy a Summer Adventure Pass (what they call the seasons pass) that next summer. It only made sense to me, because a normal general admission ticket is $41.99 per person before 4pm. With a Summer Adventure Pass, I could come an unlimited amount of times and bring guests for a discounted price. So this summer, I DID buy a Summer Adventure Pass. I bought one during the Early Bird Special, so I was able to get it for $90 plus tax, so it came out to about $97. This seemed reasonable to me compared to the typical cost of $41.99 just to get in for one day. On top of the Summer Adventure Pass, I paid an additional $42 for a year-long unlimited parking pass. This also made sense to me, because you have to pay $15 for a parking pass each time you visit, even if you are an Islands Club Member (which I am) and had the Summer Adventure Pass. With all of that being said, I was very excited to be spending my summer here with my family and friends. I came between 6-10 times this summer, and I was frustrated every time. This place is just a bunch of lines while wasting your money. They only allow you to bring guests for a discounted price on Tuesdays and Thursdays, when most people are at work or have other daily errands to run. They also allow you to buy a Fast Pass with your Summer Adventure Pass for only $30 to skip through lines and zip-line (WHICH I ALSO BOUGHT ON TOP OF THE $97 PASS, $42 PARKING PASS, AND THE ADMISSION OF EVERYONE I BROUGHT THOSE 6-10 TIMES THAT I CAME). They literally only have 2 rides that allow you to use the Fast Pass (being the Cat 4 and the Raging River), and half the time, they do not even acknowledge your fast pass! I still stood in the same line as everybody else who had just paid a general admission for the day, and the lifeguards would tell you that you had to wait in the line because it isn't fair to some people who have been waiting in the line to go. Mind you, this was told to me the one visit I had where they actually accepted my Fast Pass. The following visit I had, they would not let me get a Fast Pass bracelet at the gate because I had not paid for it yet! I had the receipt in my wallet with my credit card number and the $30 I paid for the Fast Pass Add-On for the summer, and they still did not acknowledge my receipt that proved I paid for it! I called a person on a higher paid-grade from them later on in the day, and I never got a call back from that man. It is so sad to me because they make it impossible to enjoy your visit. They seem to be greedy as well, but money doesn't seem to talk with them either! Next summer, I will be paying the $60 Seasons Pass to White Water and saving my money!
Went here for a girls' getaway and all of us had a marvelous time - no negativity, no drama the whole weekend! The grounds were nicely landscaped, well maintained and classy. So much to see and do our highlights were:
The Tiki Bar at the Waterpark - Elsie the bartender made us feel welcome and at home while working her butt off.
It's a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city life. The landscape is breathtaking, especially coming across the bridge at twilight. It's possibly a lovers paradise. There's so many things to do here.
